The focus of this role is proactively identifying employment opportunities and working with individuals to support them into sustainable employment, providing tailored support and addressing potential barriers to employment.
This is a full-time role working Monday- Friday, with an early finish on Friday. The salary offered is dependent on experience ranging from GBP26,500- GBP29,545 per annum.

Your duties will include:
- Managing a caseload of customers to support them into sustainable employment.
- Applying various strategies to overcome any potential barriers to employment.
- Providing a positive customer experience, ensuring they proactively engage with the programme.
- Carrying out assessments with customers to understand their ambitions and goals.
- Providing appropriate guidance with regard to the basics of self-employment and signposting to specialist where needed.
- Assisting in the production of action plans utilising SMART targeting.
- Sourcing suitable job opportunities from within the local labour market.
You will have/be:
- Previous experience working to targets within the employment, training or recruitment sector would be highly desirable.
- Experience in a role with a focus on problem solving and supporting others.
- Confidence in your ability to deliver services that meet contractual & quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and motivational skills.
- Good knowledge of the local labour market and employers throughout Worcester.
- The ability to manage your own workload with diverse and changing priorities.
