Role: Employment Solicitor
Experience/Seniority: 5 years PQE +
Salary Range: £60,000 - £85,000
Location: Birmingham

Here at Simpson Judge we are assisting one of our Large National Legal 500 clients in their search for an experienced Associate level Employment Solicitor, to join their busy and growing Birmingham team.
Our client has a national and international client base with would see the successful candidate working on a number of defendant employment files, but there would still be a requirement for prior claimant experience, as being a well rounded Employment Solicitor is a priority.
Some of your day to day duties would include but are not limited to:
* Giving employment law advice to a wide range of clients, including redundancy, disciplinary, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination, detriment claims and equal pay.
* Industrial relations advice
* Advising in relation to change projects, changing terms and conditions and consultation requirements
* Dealing with tribunal claims
* Draft and prepare documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reports
The ideal candidate would be:
* Ideally 5-8 years PQE advising on Employment law matters.
* Excellent team work skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong technical knowledge
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time management and organisation skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
* Flexible approach
