Job Role
As an Employment Solicitor, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising and representing employers on a wide range of employment law matters. They will offer strategic and practical legal advice, guiding clients through complex employment issues, including disciplinary matters, grievance procedures, and employment tribunal claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist employers on various employment law issues
- Handle employment tribunal cases from inception to resolution
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Provide proactive and commercially focused legal advice to clients
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Employment Law
- Proven experience in respondent employment matters
- Exceptional legal research and analytical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload and meet deadlines
- Commercial awareness and understanding of clients' needs
