Hours of Work: Cover UK core Office Hours (8am to 10pm Mon - Friday)
Be part of rota to provide on call out of hours support for P1 and P2 tickets covering (10pm to 8am UK time Monday - Friday) and (12pm - 23:59 Saturday - Sunday)
Job Description
As part of the off-shore EUC Support Engineer team you will be based in our Mauritius Office. You will be providing excellent technical and customer support for remote, and field based corporate staff in our global offices and remote support to colleagues in our Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos retail environments in the UK.
You will be responsible for contacting End Users and remotely investigating and resolving all EUC device, software issues and service requests and will work closely with our onshore EUC support teams where necessary to drive tickets to completion. You'll get great exposure to resolving security vulnerability alerts and contacting End Users to perform security scans.
What will you be doing?
As a crucial member of our dynamic IT team, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and upgrading device client management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, Intune, and JAMF. Your expertise will shine as you troubleshoot and resolve endpoint agent connectivity issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. Take the lead in deploying monthly Windows and application updates, addressing vulnerabilities identified through scanning tools. Collaborate with business owners to perform technical discovery of software applications, automating installations for unattended setups. In addition, you'll provide 2nd and 3rd line remote support, investigating reported issues and proactively researching and resolving challenges. Be part of the action, ensuring incidents and service request tickets are monitored, updated, and resolved according to SLA. Your versatility will be key as you support, configure, and maintain EUC hardware devices, printers, and operating systems, while also contributing to the upkeep of our IT Asset Register. Document processes, update the knowledge base with known issues, and escalate challenges when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
Qualifications
Demonstrable work experience as 2nd/3rd line support or similar role
- Experience of supporting Corporate Office environment remotely
- Extensive experience supporting Windows Operating System devices and hardware.
- Knowledge of EUC Device management processes (Patch Management, Asset Management, Software Distribution, Endpoint Security)
- Experience of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune)
- Experience supporting Macbook devices (JAMF/Intune)
- Excellent communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good Planning and Organisational Skills
- Able to operate proactively with minimal supervision
- Able to operate under stressful conditions
- Able to manage Time and Priorities effectively
