Job Description
Based in Central London, our prestigious FTSE listed client is looking for an Environmental Reporting and Communications Manager on a 4-month interim basis. This will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office per week.
This job would suit an accountant with at least two years' experience in a similar analytical or business partnering role, ideally within a large fast moving organisation. They will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of this ESG reporting, working with stakeholders across the business to coordinate, gather, audit and measure sustainability data, KPIs and information relating to our clients Force for Good programme (including carbon reporting). They will also support the effective communication of our clients progress through their ESG report, on their corporate website and to internal team members.

With multiple sites across the UK and Europe, the finance team has a huge role within the organisation influencing key decisions, improving performance and driving consistency across the business.
The successful individual will have expert knowledge and a passion for sustainability, particularly Environmental Reporting and indices, including carbon. Experience of Environmental Reporting: data and KPI capture, delivery, and carbon and SASB reporting is essential. They will have strong influencing skills and experience with developing excellent working relationships including engaging and motivating employees across a large organisation. Skilled project management experience with multiple stakeholder involvement is an essential part of the role. Excellent communication (written and verbal) with strong excel skills are a must.
Job responsibilities:
- Support with the data capture and reporting for ESG KPIs including (but not limited to):
- Net zero carbon
- Critical commodities
- EPR
- Waste management
- Lead the process for coordinating the production and content creation for relevant external ESG reporting (including, but not limited to:)
- Annual Report and Accounts
- ESG report
- SASB
- Modern Slavery Act
- TCFD
- TNFD
- Lead the maintenance and development of external communications of FFG through our corporate and brand facing websites
- Manage the implementation of Whitbread's internal communications programme regarding the ESG report and FFG metrics update.
- Support the wider FFG team and ESG Reporting and Engagement Manager with internal and external presentations on ESG topics
