Job Description: We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, ensuring competitive bids, and maintaining profitability for our full turn-key projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction estimating background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather necessary information for bids.
- Analyse subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and select vendors.
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Monitor project budgets and provide ongoing support to project teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and material/labour costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- years of experience in construction estimating, specifically with full turn-key projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
