You will work on a wide range of events, including conferences, forums, breakfast briefings and our range of digital products. Most of the events are UK based, but we also run large flagship conferences internationally. Our events have a reputation for excellence, and we deliver top quality products to our members and customers, whilst meeting (or better still exceeding) financial targets and performance measures.

The right person will have at least 2 years of conference production experience, great communication skills, high attention to detail and an eye for the innovative. Sponsor relationship management

  • Support the sponsorship team, in creating suitable content areas for sponsors within the programme development
  • Liaise with the sponsor to develop programme content, ensuring there is a joined-up approach to marketing
  • Produce a sponsor brief and confirm sponsor deadlines for each event
  • Ensure deadlines are met and lines of communication are open
  • Work with the sponsorship team to ensure the contractual needs of the sponsor are fully met

Speaker management

  • Assist the conference chair in facilitating the speaker briefing meetings, taking notes for circulation
  • Check speaker slides and proof delegate pack material
  • Speaker liaison in the lead-up to and on the day of the event - produce chair/speaker briefing notes and ensure all speakers are comfortable with their role on the programme

Other

  • Attend all in person conferences - either to manage where this is your event, or support on others
  • Attend, contribute to and facilitate if required meetings with events and publishing stakeholders
  • Support the marketing team in reviewing content for event emails, and ensuring the information is up to date
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the wider ACT, including the Chief Executive, Policy & Technical Team and working groups.
  • Develop a strong understanding of treasury issues and the key players in the industry
  • Monitor industry developments, to support the team in looking for further opportunities to develop new and innovative products and refresh existing product to maintain our position as market leaders
