Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London’s West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham’s. Job overview/ summary of main tasks
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Events Programmer will support the development of our one-off event programming, bringing the best comedy, music and other events to our theatres, to be presented alongside our resident productions.
Key skills and experience required
The successful applicant will have had previous experience in programming live comedy, music and other one-off events, and of collaborating effectively with promoters in the commercial theatre sector. Essential qualifications include expertise in negotiating, project management, and a deep understanding of entertainment industry intricacies. Strong communication and numerical skills, high computer literacy, and a meticulous, well-organised approach are crucial for success in this fast-paced role.
