Ralph Thoresby School is a successful secondary school in north Leeds with a recent Ofsted rating of 'Good'.
We are seeking to appoint a well organised and motivated person to join our Data Management team in school. The Examinations Officer will be responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of internal and external examinations and assessments, including access arrangements, in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.
The successful applicant will be equipped in terms of experience, knowledge and skills, to undertake fully the requirements of this post. They should have a good working knowledge of examination administration and procedures including directing and training exam invigilators, together with the assessment and exams modules of Arbor MIS. They should be able to produce accurate and timely reports to support the work of the Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure, show initiative and work actively to promote the school.
The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours term time only plus 15 days. The plus days will be worked in accordance with the requirements of the school and might require some on site presence during school holidays.
