Role Description
The main purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the Chief Claims Officer with the delivery of his business objectives. As Executive Assistant to the Chief Claims Officer you will be working closely with the Claims and Engineering Inspection Leadership team while collaborating with colleagues across the wider business towards the delivery of projects, actions and various ad-hoc tasks. You will be responsible for the creation of numerous board reports and presentations and will have exposure to key strategic discussions and decisions which will provide you with an in-depth insight into the business. You will be required to work and collaborate with Senior Stakeholders across the company to produce the best outcome for the business.
About You
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out research, analysis and prepare presentations to provide insight ahead of internal and external meetings
- Take ownership and co-ordinate all reporting requirement for the various board meetings across Claims and Engineering Inspection; tracking deadlines and paper requirements across various committees while ensuring appropriate time planned for paper review with all actions updated & closed within agreed timescales.
- Organise, attend relevant meetings, take minutes and assist in progressing and completing action points
- Take part in project work, as agreed
- Provide assistance as and when required to members of the Claims and Engineering Inspection leadership team on ad-hoc project and analysis work.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in insurance or roles with corporate governance experience would be advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills to ensure that work is prioritised appropriately, deadlines are met, and key stakeholders kept updated.
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, even whilst potentially working on a number of complex tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrates effective influencing and collaboration skills.
- Able to work in a pro-active and decisive manner, even when dealing with ambiguity or changing priorities
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint.

- ACII qualification advantageous, but not mandatory
