Our second phase start up client has developed a compact nuclear fusion reactor that is already up and running in Bristol. It has medical applications and will allow hospitals to access radio-isotopes which we currently struggle to obtain in the UK healthcare sector. This means better supply of critical isotopes needed for cancer diagnosis and treatment as we rely 100% on the import of these medical isotopes. Description
The Executive Assistant will need to be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a unique set of skills and adaptability to contribute effectively to the fast-paced and evolving environment. The EA plays a pivotal role in supporting the two executives / co-founders and facilitating smooth operations across various departments.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to company directors, managing various business-related tasks.
- Efficiently handle daily schedules, ensuring directors' calendars are meticulously organised and optimised for time management.
- Manage communications, including answering and directing emails and phone calls to appropriate parties with discretion and professionalism.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Assist in the organisation of meeting agendas and the recording of meeting minutes. This task is partially automated through the use of an AI notetaker.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Arrange and coordinate travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
Profile
A successful Executive Assistant should have:
- Circa. 10 years' experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience using MS Office packages such as Azure, MS Planner, 365
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic ever-changing environment
- The ability to manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
