Salary: £31,293 - £36,774 per annum
The BFI is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their Corporate & Industry Affairs Department.
This position reports into the Deputy CEO and works closely with the Director of Policy & Public Affairs, providing diary management and administrative support as well as overall support to ensure the smooth running of the department. The Executive Assistant will also be required to carry out research and database management, events planning and managing meetings.

Key responsibilities
- Diary management
- Co-ordination, agenda preparation and minute-taking for internal and external meetings
- Monitoring email
- Be a central point of contact for enquiries for the Corporate & Industry Affairs team
- To support the Policy & Public Affairs team with the preparation of documents for publication, including proof reading, formatting and electronic filing – to include briefing documents, calls for evidence, policy responses and ministerial communication
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience of working in an administrative capacity, preferably working within a policy or Public Affairs team or government department.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience of using a web content management system to maintain a website.
- Experience of working on events and assisting with print publications
