EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CFO & TEAM + GENERAL COUNSEL & TEAM

up to £60,000 + (generous) Benefits + (disc.) Bonus

London (West End) | Hybrid (2 days WFH)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Assistant to proactively support a CFO, General Counsel and their respective teams, for a listed (FTSE 250) Private Equity firm. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have gravitas. This position is suitable for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and someone experienced supporting the senior leadership team of a listed company. 

COMPANY: Our client is a listed Private Equity / Venture Capital firm based in the West End, and very successful in the Biotech, Pharma and wider Life Sciences sector. SELECTUS has recruited extensively for this firm over the last few years, and they look (very) well after their own staff, which is evident by their staff tenure and high retention rate. 

ENVIRONMENT: The business support team works in a very tight-knit manner. All EAs support each other, and whilst each has their own main team(s) they support, the first one to have some spare capacity will look to support the others. 

DUTIES:

• Extensive diary management for the CFO and General Counsel, including the scheduling of calls across time zones.
• Local and international travel coordination, including some complex itineraries across different time zones.
• Scheduling both internal and external meetings, with some exposure to collating research when needed.
• Supporting with correspondence, document collation, expenses, filing, etc., when needed.
• Other ad-hoc support in line with the Executive Assistant role.

CANDIDATE:

• Minimum 5 years experience supporting Senior leadership in an Executive Assistant capacity.
• Previous Private Equity / Venture Capital experience preferred (but other relevant experience from Pharma, BioTech, Investment / Asset Management, or wider Life Sciences / Financial Services will also be considered). 
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong business mindset.
• Capable of being as proactive, as well as reactive. 
• Strong team player.
