Executive Director

CUBO (College and University Business Officers) is the leading association for commercial and campus services professionals in higher and further education. CUBO members manage various commercial aspects of educational institutions, including student accommodation, catering, hospitality, retail, conferencing, and ancillary services such as sport, security, transport, and childcare.
CUBO’s mission is to lead and promote excellence in campus life, services, and the student experience, supporting members through events, training, research, best practice sharing and advocating for high-quality and innovative campus activities.

The Executive Director role at CUBO requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in stakeholder management, comprehensive financial management skills, and experience in strategic planning and policy development within higher education or a sector that shares similar characteristics. They will be collaborating internally with the Executive Board, staff, and members to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication, while externally engaging with universities, government bodies, national and international sector associations and corporate partners to foster partnerships, advocate for CUBO's mission, and represent the organisation at events.

Demonstrated leadership in team management, staff development, and the ability to navigate complex projects are pivotal, alongside a strong understanding of campus life and commercial services.
