Facilities Manager

Queen’s is seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious and well-qualified Facilities Manager.  Reporting to the Bursar, the person appointed will work with colleagues in the Bursary and various wider staff across both schools to ensure that the ongoing operations of Queen’s are delivered in an efficient, effective and timely manner.

The Facilities Manager will need to be well-organised, methodical, efficient and demonstrate exemplary attention to detail. The work will involve a varied portfolio, including oversight of outsourced services (catering and cleaning), promoting and managing lettings of both schools and assisting with events co-ordination.  The appointed person will possess excellent collaborative, organisational and customer-facing skills.  A warm and polite approach is equally important, as the role will involve frequent interaction with various stakeholders including suppliers, parents, governors and others outside the Queen’s community.
