Farm Production Manager

Main requirement for the successful Farm Production Manager:
The ideal candidate will be a manager with a proven track record and a progressive attitude towards implementing and maintaining world-class farming standards and procedures:
- Contribute to the development of production strategic objectives.
- Implement horticultural best practices to ensure production targets are achieved, as agreed upon and instructed by Estate Manager.
- Organize and control the availability of farming resources and implements.
- Ensure ongoing control of all processes, recording of progress and monitoring of costs within area of responsibility.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of environmental and sustainability plans and targets.
- Ensure compliance with all audits and legislation requirements, as well as implement and take accountability for all Group HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
An ideal Farm Production Manager will have:
- Strong financial management, analytical and good problem-solving skills.
- A relevant tertiary degree in agriculture and/or horticulture.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and a technical understanding of fruit production functions
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Relevant Farm Production experience, from land development to harvesting and farm maintenance.
- Strong people management, relationship building and interpersonal relations skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
What we offer in return for the successful Farm Production Manager:
- Salary £50,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday ( we are accepting application for part time as well full-time hours)
- 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
