We are a freight forwarding/Logistics company based in Sunbury-on-Thames, specialised in Energy industry with overseas presence including Dubai, Iraq and Nigeria.
We are looking for a part qualified (AAT, CIMA, ACCA or similar) Finance/Accounts Assistant paying £25k and pension contributions depending on experience.
Ideal candidate should be an experienced Finance Assistant with Excel skills including v-look ups and pivot tables. Sage 200 experience is an added advantage but not essential, candidates should be available immediately or in a month’s notice. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Job description
Responsible for purchase ledger and sales ledger including payment runs, credit control for UK and overseas debtors.
Reconciliation of bank accounts in various currencies.
Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Agreement of Inter-Company balances UK and overseas offices.
Processing nominal ledger journals, accruals and prepayments
Vat reconciliations and submissions
Daily import of data from Netfreight
Maintain and reconciling petty cash in various currencies.
Staff expense input and payments
Assist CFO in preparation of monthly/yearly management accounts and annual audit pack for group of companies.
EDI data input and upload.
Admin work
Any other Ad hoc duties as requested by the CFO.
