Form of workRobert Half Finance & Accounting are currently seeking a an interim Finance Administratorto join our client's team based in North Bristol+ hybrid working (occasional day in the office) on an interim basis of 3 months initially, with potential opportunity of becoming permanent.
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Temporary (3 months) with the potential for permanent placement
Salary: £22,500 - £23,000 (Hourly rate equivalent)
Working pattern: 35 hour working week, mainly working remotely with occasional day in the office
You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for ensuring all invoices are raised in adherence with the billing run timetable
- Ensure all invoices distributed to funders on the day of production
- Notify Income Analyst of any issues incurred during a billing run
- Responsible for the accuracy of fixed billing data in the system
- Provide support and advice to other teams in relation to the billing procedures if needed
- Monitor the Invoicing mailbox and ensure all requests are actioned or passed to the relevant team member
- Ensure new starters are processed as requested within one week of receipt
- Process al leavers within the month the notification is received
- Responsible for the creation of the monthly manual accrual journal, ensuring all back up data checked and stored and processing once approved by a senior team member
- To act as the first point of contact for Purchasing Authorities for any queries relating to invoices raised and/or pass onto relevant colleague
- Responsible for ensuring that all information and files relating to the above are saved in agreed formats & folders

- Computer literate and confident with computer systems
