Our client, a local charity based in the Holywood Area, has an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join their team.
This is a full time post, office based and offers flexibility on working hours.
The Finance Administrator will work as part of a small team of three staff and will support the Senior Finance Assistant and the Management Accountant.
The position will offer full-time hours (40 hours per week) and a salary of £21,000 to £23,500 dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
Processing for all invoices received by the organization (receive, code and distribute for approval when received)
Reconcile supplier statements prior to payment
Ensure that expenditure is coded accurately to allow for proper recording and reporting of expenditure
Process bi-monthly payment runs
Process all cash requests from the community
Ensure accurate accounting records and systems are maintained, with an appropriate level of information to facilitate review, investigation and explanation of variances to budget
Ensure that all expenditures are incurred in line with financial authorisation procedures and that all invoices are posted in a timely fashion to the creditors’ ledger
The Finance Administrator will ensure the accurate update of monthly information for the Management Accountant and will work in a process driven environment.

Essential Criteria:
5 GCSE's Grade C and above including Maths & English
6 months experience working within an office setting
Ability to follow procedures and work with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work in an office every day as part of a team
