The ideal candidate will have a background in Finance/Accounts Administration to include Purchase Ledger. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain further experience and develop your skills.
Starting salary of up to £26,000 depending on experience. Please note this role will initially be employed on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential of an extension/ permanent role thereafter.
The successful Finance Administrator will be required to:-
- Accurately process high volumes of purchase ledger invoices and credit notes.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting Operational, Corporate and Statutory requirements.
- Complete financial records.
- Work to tight deadlines.
- Reconcile supplier accounts.
- Undertake daily bank reconciliation.
- Resolve invoice queries.
The Finance Administrator will have:-
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- An ability to process high volumes of invoices/credit notes accurately.
- Experience in a purchase ledger environment (essential).
- Good time management ability, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong IT skills- to include Microsoft Excel and accounting/purchase ledger software.
- Methodical approach.
- Ability to work using own initiative and under supervision.
- A desire to work as part of a team, building strong internal relationships.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- A good level of secondary education, in particular numeracy and literacy.
- AAT qualification (desirable but not essential.)
