The Finance organisation is responsible for running the Group’s accounting, revenue management, payables and FP&A activities. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation and fast-paced environment within an expanding Finance team and gain exposure to the wider business.
The Role
The Finance Analyst will report to the Revenue Manager and support the delivery of the Group’s revenue reporting. The role will be pivotal both to the Finance function as well as the business and requires someone with a eye for detail and the ability to continually look for improvements. The successful candidate will help create a strong culture of control and help navigate through an ever-changing regulatory environment. The successful candidate will help manage tax and treasury activities. Previous revenue finance or industry experience highly desirable.
Core Responsibilities
- To accurately process and match bank receipts to commission/ fee statements for various providers on a daily basis
- Assist with MI reporting on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Invoice clients on a quarterly and annual basis
- Review and manage aged debtor balances. This will include contacting providers and liaising with colleagues with queries to collect outstanding monies
- Maintain records on the Kingswood back office system
- Support the provision of information for Group and local audits
- Assist colleagues with project work including the integration of acquired businesses
- Support the Accounts Payable process in remote sites and across Kingswood to ensure accurate and timely payment of Suppliers
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
- Ability to drive results, having a track record of high performance
- Excellent communication skills
- An interest in financial reporting systems and competent in using Excel, Microsoft Office tools
- Exhibiting a Growth Mindset; having an inquisitive mind, desire to learn and take on stretch goals
- Self-motivated with an ability to organise and work independently
