Finance and Operations Manager

Would you like to use your versatile accounting experience on a part time basis in the Arts sector?
Our client is looking for an experienced accountant with excellent organisational skills for an initial 2-year contract that may be extended.
THE BENEFITS:
£32,000 - £34,000 pro rata for 25 - 30 hours per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), 5% pension, enhanced parental leave, and sick leave, some free car parking nearby, flexible working hours and hybrid working options. PLUS working with a really great team of people!
THE ROLE:
The role requires broad based accounting skills including preparing management and financial accounts, payroll, budgets, statutory returns and forecasting, the ability to relay finance to non-finance staff and treasury management.
Excellent organisational skills are required for the non-finance elements of the role which will include operational administration, health, and safety compliance, administer utilities and insurance contracts.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team on preparing grant and bid applications to secure income and to provide support for new and existing commercial projects.
The appointment is on a part time basis 25 - 30 hours per week for an initial two-year contract until March 2026 when the position will be reviewed dependant on available funding.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be looking to use their accounting experience and excellent organisational skills in a rewarding part time position in the Arts/Charity sector.
It is essential that you have previous broad based accounting skills, however they may have been acquired in professional practice, industry, public sector, education, or the charity sector. Qualified, part qualified and QBE accountants are welcome to apply.
