We are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a team of 8 professionals managing the companies’ sales and purchase ledgers. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and wider stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and smooth operation of finance processes.
What will you be doing?
- Processing of purchase and sales invoices in a timely manner
- Assisting in bank reconciliation queries
- Processing credit notes and arranging refunds as required
- Supporting month end, year end and weekly billing cycles
- Assisting other members of the team when required
- Prioritising competing deliverables
- Ensure all internal SLA’s within the department are met
- Provide timely and accurate information to key stakeholders
- Basic to intermediate Excel ability
- Knowledge of double entry accounting (desirable)
- Experience of financial reporting
- Studying towards AAT qualification (desirable)
- Strong financial aptitude
- Confident working to tight deadlines
- Good communicator
Hours and Benefits
Monday – Friday (Hybrid)
2 days in office, 3 days from home
37.5 hours per week between 8am – 6pm
