Salary A local company are looking for an experienced individual to join their growing team as a Finance Assistant. The company are a family run business and are looking for an AAT qualified or equivalent individual.
Working hours will consist of 25 to 30 hours, either worked as 3 full days or 5 days in school hours. All worked between the hours of 08:30-17:00.
Duties of the role:
? Sales Ledger with payment receipts.
? Purchase Ledger including inputting, balancing and paying suppliers.
? Conducting bank reconciliations.
? Completing VAT returns.
? Taking inbound calls and making relevant outbound calls, managing queries.
? General administration.
You must:
? Have an AAT qualification or equivalent.
? Hold previous experience within a Finance Assistant role.
? Show strong communication skills both written and verbal.
? Be computer literate, confident on spreadsheet work and able to learn new software.
? Work well within a team.
? Be willing to develop within your role.
Experience using Sage Accounts and Payroll would be advantageous but is not required.
Offering ?30,000-?35,000 per annum pro rata, this is a fantastic opportunity with the potential for progression. This position also has the potential to become a full-time role and ideally flexibility for this would be offered by the candidate.
