Finance Assistant

The Job:
·Assisting with the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns
·Undertaking the administrative aspects of tax return compliance process, in order to assist tax portfolio mangers
·Liaising with colleagues in other areas of the organisation – across tax and accounting – in order to provided a comprehensive and co-ordinated service to clients
·Providing a prompt response to queries
·Informing tax manager of job progress and any arising issues
·Providing a high standard of customer service and service delivery
 
The Salary:
Dependant on Experience
 
The Hours:
8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility for hybrid working)
 
About You:
You will ideally have previous experience in a tax environment, and will either hold the tax qualification of AAT or will be willing to work towards this. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and compliance.  You will have confident IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of IRIS or other tax production software would also be highly advantageous.
