Due to business growth, an opportunity has arisen to join this friendly team at the heart of the business. We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who holds, or is willing to develop, the necessary skills to support the business in taking the Finance function to the next level.
Working in a small Finance team, you will support the company in a wide variety of finance areas, such as :
- Purchase ledger invoice processing from receipt through to payment
- Raising sales invoices accurately
- Maintaining the accuracy of the Sage databases
- Ensuring the shared Accounts email inbox is kept clear and organised
- Keeping a tight control of the filing and organisation of the finance office
- Other ad-hoc finance tasks as required
You will be able to clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Previous, recent experience of working in a similar role
- AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified (ideal, but not essential)
- Good IT skills - competent in Outlook and Excel
- Highly organised
- Sage 50 experience advantageous
- High attention to detail
- The ability to ask for assistance if unsure, no guessing
- Excellent communication skills
