SalaryA local company are looking for an experienced individual to join their growing team as a Finance Assistant. The company are a family run business and are looking for an AAT qualified or equivalent individual.
Working hours will consist of 25 to 30 hours, either worked as 3 full days or 5 days in school hours. All worked between the hours of 08:30-17:00.
Duties of the role:
- Sales Ledger with payment receipts.
- Purchase Ledger including inputting, balancing and paying suppliers.
- Conducting bank reconciliations.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Taking inbound calls and making relevant outbound calls, managing queries.
- General administration.
You must:
- Have an AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Hold previous experience within a Finance Assistant role.
- Show strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Be computer literate, confident on spreadsheet work and able to learn new software.
- Work well within a team.
- Be willing to develop within your role.
Experience using Sage Accounts and Payroll would be advantageous but is not required. Offering £30,000-£35,000 per annum pro rata, this is a fantastic opportunity with the potential for progression. This position also has the potential to become a full-time role and ideally flexibility for this would be offered by the candidate.
