Finance Support Specialist

Location: Sparkbrook, Birmingham
Working Hours: 15 hours over 2 days per week until the end of March 2024
Salary: £13.92 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves providing essential financial support through income and expenditure processing, as well as general finance tasks. The successful candidate will be required to work 15 hours spread over 2 days each week until the end of March 2024 initially office based moving to hybrid following a training period.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Income and Expenditure Processing: Execute financial transactions with precision, ensuring accurate recording of income and expenditure.
2. General Finance Support: Provide comprehensive support in various finance-related tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
3. Proficiency in Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics Accounting: Utilize advanced skills in Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics Accounting to carry out financial operations seamlessly.
4. Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Strong analytical skills will be essential for this aspect of the role.

Requirements:

• Basic finance skills with a focus on income and expenditure processing.
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is essential for this role
• Analytical skills for effective account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
