Dundee Based - up to GBP26,000 per annum
Nicholas Hendry is currently working with an established, innovative organisation that are market leading in in their niche. Our client, a specialist manufacturing organisation, are keen to hire an experienced Finance Assistant to join their close-knit, energetic team.
This is a pivotal position for the organisation which will support the core Finance team with their daily tasks, in a collaborative & agile working environment with high levels of autonomy.
This position would best suit a dynamic & enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a modernised environment, is technologically savvy, has excellent communications skill, and is familiar with Sage 50
Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger invoice processing
- Preparing & processing supplier payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers on invoice queries/payments etc
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Managing supplier account terms and setting up new suppliers.
- Investigating & resolving any invoice discrepancies.
- Month end accruals
- Additional ad-hoc duties as required
- Experience with Sage 50.
- Strong organisational skills, as the role typically handles high volumes of invoices.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively listen to others and relay information clearly.
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and creditors.
