Finance Assistant

Overview

My client, an established and successful business who focus on work life balance and ensuring business based in Redditch. They currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for an to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in a supportive, friendly, and family- feel, fast-paced, exciting, and sometimes pressured. You will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for both purchase ledger and sales ledger and supporting with month and year end. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where you will gain rare exposure to senior duties working alongside experienced and qualified team members.

Skills required:

• You will currently studying AAT or have similar experience with 1-2 years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• You must be familiar with communicating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders and be able to do this confidently
• You must be fantastic with using Excel (Pivot tables, VLookup) and equivalent programmes. Being a quick learner would also be advantageous to get familiar with new programmes
• You must be a hard-worker and be able to complete work to high standards, even in pressuring situations
