Description
- Record income and expenditure accurately using the financial system (currently Sage50).
- Maintain precise and current day books for both sales and purchase invoices.
- Generate and distribute sales invoices promptly.
- Receive purchase invoices and direct them to the appropriate team member for coding and approval.
- Compile weekly payment batches and secure necessary authorisations.
- Proactively follow up on overdue payments and generate monthly reports on creditors and debtors for the relevant team members.
- Initiate the creation of sales invoices as needed.
- Process authorised payment batches for timely payments.
- Provide valuable support to the Finance Manager, Head of Governance, Finance, and Office, as well as the Finance Department.
- Conduct reconciliations for financial sources, including bank accounts and online payments (including event registration batches).
- Organise and maintain financial documentation meticulously.
Profile
* 2 years experience working within a Finance department
* A qualification in accountancy is desirable
* Experience using Sage50
* Ability to multi-task
* Great attention to detail
* Excellent excel skills
* Quick learner and proactive approach
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Offer
