An opportunity has arisen for a diligent Finance Assistant to support our esteemed life science client's accounting and finance department. The suitable candidate must be equipped with relevant financial skills and have a keen eye for detail.

Our client is a well-established company in the life science industry with a substantial workforce. They are globally recognised for their innovative contributions and have a significant presence in Dunfermline.

Description

· Processing of invoices through three-way match

· Working with Supply Chain & Stores to resolve matching issues.

· Inter-Company Reconciliations.

· Balance Sheet reconciliations.

· Weekly clearing of RTV's against GRNI.

· Preparation of Supplier Payments.

· Applications of Credit Notes to match out RTV's.

· Prepares supplier statement reconciliations.

· Monitors supplier evaluations.

· Maintains and updates policies and procedures.

· General accounting duties.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proficient knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics system would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a team
