Finance Assistant

I'm delighted to be working alongside a research company south of Cambridge for a Finance Assistant part-time (two days a week) maternity leave cover.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll manage essential finance functions, collaborate on process enhancements, and contribute to system improvements. This 3-9 month opportunity offers a glimpse into the dynamic biotech sector.
Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
• Collaborate on finance process improvements.
• Validate data and assist in system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Previous purchase ledger/invoice processing experience.
• Proficiency in payment management.
• Skills in Excel and accounting software.
• Sage experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
