We are proud to be working with a well-established and reputable organisation within the Hull area, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 10 month fixed term contract. The right candidate will be someone with experience within a finance environment looking for contract within a very reputable company.

Finance Assistant duties include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices on a daily basis
- Process goods received notes in a timely manner
- Bank reconciliations
- Accurately coding invoices and banking transactions
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Cash handling
- Resolving queries and discrepancies on the purchase ledger
- Ad-hoc duties
- A good understanding of double entry and basic accounting principles
- Experience within a finance environment
- A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work towards deadlines
- IT knowledge including Excel
