SalaryRetail Group based in Chichester West Sussex, has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to undertake responsibility for the sales forecasting and reporting processes.
What will the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, the main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:
- Support the annual planning process including preparation of sales and costs plans, timetable management, presentation reviews, feedback, analyses and reports through professional financial input;
- Conduct value add, proactive financial analysis and continually improve reports to help the commercial teams obtain optimal performance;
- Support the Commercial teams by Business Partnering to identify and analyse new opportunities providing quality financial decision making information for business cases;
- Assist in the target setting process for commercial teams and ensure accurate reporting against targets;
- Develop financial models for investment appraisal, providing reasoned recommendations to senior management including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning;
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives to support growth.
Suitable candidate:
- Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a demonstrable track record of financial forecasting and information analysis;
- Excellent communication skills will be essential to undertake the Finance Business Partner role successfully as it will entail extensive liaison with key non finance stakeholders throughout the organisation.
Additional information:
- The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful applicant expected to attend the office two to three days a week.
