Finance Business Partner

Forge Talent are excited to be partnering a Manufacturing business in South Manchester who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner.

Main responsibilities:

• Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to the project and business strategies.
• Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
• Oversee standard costing and inventory management to support strategic and operational decision making within the business.
• Become the focal point for data and BI strategy by driving, with direction and support from the FD plus wider business.
• Data led approach to decision making, including data validation, consistency and production of insightful dashboards and commercial decision support.
• Responsible for reviewing, understanding, challenging and explaining all manufacturing cost variances on a regular basis.
• Raise and promote finance into the wider business by providing Finance Business Partnering and control.
• Support to a variety of stakeholders to deliver improvements in all aspects of site performance.
• Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions.
• Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
• Understanding the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by experience.
• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
• Ambitious and self-motivated individual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

• £50,000-£55,000
• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Pension 5/3%
• Company profit related bonus

This role requires someone to be in the office 4 days a week with 1 from home.
