Finance Business Partner

Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting our client in their search for a Finance Business Partner.

Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, the Finance Business Partner will be pivotal in driving growth across the business and play a key role in ensuring its long-term success.

The Finance Business Partner will use their excellent communication skills to influence key decisions and build relationships across the business.

Some key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives
• To maintain full, accurate and timely data sets on the commercial performance of the business
• Provide analysis and insights to support pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives
• Support the financial planning and forecasting processes, including budget preparation and variance analysis
• Conduct regular financial performance reviews and present findings to senior management
• Monitor and manage financial risks and recommend appropriate strategies to mitigate them
• Support the preparation and evaluation of business cases for capital expenditure projects and investments
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal controls

Some key requirements:

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a similarly commercial role
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proficiency in financial planning and forecasting tools, and experience in budgeting and variance analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
