SalaryGrafton Banks Finance Executive Search is assisting a rapidly expanding £15m turnover, SME construction company near Orpington in Kent recruit its first Finance Director. This business is growing organically and has won lots of exciting new contracts.
The purpose of the role is to manage and motivate a small finance team and drive increased revenue and growth. Reporting to the CEO and acting as one of the senior leadership team you will focus on business partnering, cashflow forecasting and budgeting. You will also be expected to manage stock and project contract costings, improve reporting deadlines, and manage WIP as well as CIS reporting. The role requires someone to challenge the status quo and look at ways to improve systems, processes, and controls.
Candidates need to be fully qualified with constriction sector experience as well as CIS reporting, project costing and WIP experience to apply. The role is full time onsite, so candidates need to be located within commuting distance to the offices.
