The Role
Reporting to The Bursar, the Finance Manager will manage the day-to-day finances of the College, including payroll, school fees receivable, banking and accounts payable.
Managing activities within our finance office, you will oversee a team of three staff, and overseeing the payroll for 230 individuals and support incoming fees for our 1200 pupils.
In terms of financial management, you will be involved in management accounts production, cashflow analysis, budget projections and annual financial statements.
You will also undertake various school administration activities, including monitoring staff and department budgets, oversee study visas and oversight of cashless payment systems.
Additionally, you will support HR activity, such as maintaining and developing the HR information system.
About You
To be considered as a Finance Manager, you will need:
- To be a CCAB qualified accountant (holding ICAI, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA qualifications), with post qualification experience
- Experience of effective budget, financial, risk and resource management and reporting
- Experience in the use of financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the preparation of financial management accounts, cashflows and statements
