SalaryWe are currently with a well-established business based in Blackburn who are looking for a Management Accountant to join them as they look to continue the last few years of successful growth.
The business is a major player within a niche market and has some pretigous customers, they are looking to add to the head office team an experienced Finance Manager/Management Accountant. You will be a critical part of the next few years growth and will provide a more detailed monthly reporting pack to support the forecast of the future of the business.
Duties as Finance Manager/Management Accountant will include: -
Establish a structured month end management accounts pack and associated commentary for the Group.
Manage all the ledger processing and associated general ledger reconciliations.
Monitor the cashflow and daily banking as well as all banking transactions.
Work closely with customers and manage an efficient payment process, rebate queries.
Accruals/Prepayments.
Provide budgeting across the business regarding the internal budgetary controls and manage expenses.
Manage the fixed asset register and all calculations.
Monitor the stock levels and movements and provide tighter controls in this area.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident in the monthly processes around reporting and understands the needs of an owner managed business. You may be fully AAT qualified or studying for your profession qualifications, however we would also acknowledge candidate experience, where you have assisted with month end and assisting growth for an SME business.
