A Finance Operations Supervisor is required to work for a national retailer, based in Kent (full time, 5 days in the office). This is an opportunity to work for a nationally known retailer with 100+ stores in the UK.
This is a position managing the day-to-day queries and workload for the transactional finance team. Duties will include:
- Covering all aspects of both accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
- Ensuring suppliers are paid correctly and on time.
- Ensuring accounts are fully reconciled and that all cash received is fully reconciled.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies
- Be the go-to person for finance queries with colleagues and external suppliers
- Building on existing reporting to ensure efficiency in communication.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivables.
Excel proficiency is very much essential for this role. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to be the go-to person for finance queries. This is a close-knit team, and you must be a team-player who can lead from the front.
