Successful candidate will be required to work alongside different departments, providing financial information and analysis to senior management helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy.
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Part Qualified CCAB (post graduate diploma level) or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a financial environment in a large complex organization.
- Management accounting experience.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Support specific budgets, analyzing variances.
- Hold monthly meetings with Budget Holders.
- Monitor grant expenditure and income, providing detailed reports. • Develop methodologies for accurate financial forecasting.
- Maintain and develop financial information systems.
- Advise budget holders on policies and procedures.
- Prepare annual budgets for various PHW teams.
- Provide business planning advice to budget holders.
- Negotiate budgets, ensuring alignment with funding limits.
- Prepare and review cost establishments and budget proposals.
- Provide support for statutory and ad-hoc costing returns.
- Develop relationships with senior managers and external customers.
- Provide specialist advice and training to non-finance staff.
