Financial Accountant

With an internal progression path to Financial Controller, this will be an ideal opportunity for a Financial Accountant looking for a long-term move in which they can continue developing their career.
You’ll be joining a well-established Law Firm in Central London in a newly-created role bringing additional technical accounting expertise to their finance team of 15, with ambitious growth plans ahead for the firm.
This could represent a first move in to the legal sector for an experienced accountant from within professional services, with LLP/partnership accounting experience or a fresh challenge for someone already working in legal accounts.  
The role will provide a high level of exposure to key stakeholders and budget holders throughout the firm and work closely with the Head of Finance and Financial Controller.
This will be a hands-on role, ensuring the integrity of the firm’s financial records, providing monthly financial accounts to the board and reporting at firmwide, departmental and team levels.
Other duties include; cash flow reporting, year end statutory accounts preparation and VAT reporting, monthly reconciliations and more. You’ll also contribute to a variety of finance projects and ad-hoc initiatives as a key member of the finance team.
Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 remote
Location: Central London
Salary: £70-80k + comprehensive benefits
