SalaryFinancial Accountant- 3 Month Initial Contract (with extension opportunity) - £200+ a day (Inside IR35) - Predominantly working from home, with occassional requirements to work from their Edinburgh based office - Public Sector
Role Description:
This role is required to assist with the backfill of a role that is currently responsible for the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and stock controls. The role will also be required to assist with preparation for year end audit at 31 March as well as ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Essential Skills:
- Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills, and will have experience working in a finance department.
- Possess a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) and have in-depth experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- Specialised working knowledge of finance databases and financial accounting procedures.
- Experience is essential in interpretation of technical accounting standards and in public sector VAT treatment.
