Financial Accountant

A sporting events company is looking to hire a Financial Accountant with audit background on a 3 month basis (possibility to get extended) to assist during a busy period due to some exciting projects coming up. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a key role within the finance team.

As a Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will be:

• Assist in performing internal financial and operational control audits
• Lead specific audits in accordance with the Internal Audit guidelines and in line with the Internal Audit methodology
• Ensure compliance and historic accounts are in order ahead of the year end audit

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Audit background
• 1 PQE
