Financial Accountant – Bedford

Financial Accountant, head office role for very successful and established business, Bedford, to £45,000+ Hybrid

Established business with multiple group entities requires a Financial Accountant to prepare statutory financial accounts for numerous subsidiary businesses. The role sits within a finance team and could suit either a progressive individual wishing to study further, or an established accountant. The role is based on site for 3 days with 2 days working from home.

As the financial Accountant you will:

• Produce financial statements for all companies within the group
• Complete treasury and cashflow forecasting to aid management decisions
• Have responsibility for capex control and reporting in the business
• Partner with the Central Operations team to ensure strong budget control.
• Prepare and submit the VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide support with any ad-hoc analysis required.
• Liaise with the external auditors during the year end audit process and work closely with the finance team to resolve any queries
• Assist with intercompany transactions, the production of budget and forecasts
• Manage inter-company loans and process interest payments.
