Job Description
Based in Hertfordshire, our global, innovative client is a seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to join their busy and growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid working role with 1-2 days required in the office per week.
The successful individual will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who will be able to hit the ground running, you will need to be immediately available, and this is a hands-on role with no reports in a very fast-paced environment.
This is a multinational £1bn manufacturing business, a Global leader with a team of over 8000 and the successful candidate will be well-used to working in an international setting, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and who excels at problem solving.
Job responsibilities:
- Monthly Consolidated Accounts for six companies including overseas subsidiaries in foreign currencies including internal P&L, BS reporting and Sales & Margins reports
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
- Involvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs.
- Management and control of: $400m chargebacks system in the USA / ERP system for Finance / Concur expense system / VAT (MTD) return / ONS reporting / monthly inter-company reconciliations / FX rates / Revenue Recognition / Fixed Assets (£220m) / 90% of the Balance Sheet / FX reporting
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues
- Collaborate with FP&A Team to help produce accurate budgets.
- Subsidiary accounting in local currency [monthly]
- Liaising with Auditors and HMRC
