Form of work Our client, a dynamic business, currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and investment, is looking to hire a credible FP&A Lead to join its talented team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will provide senior management with accurate forecasting, reporting and analysis, identifying trends to support critical decision making, ensuring the effective strategic management of the business.
Key duties include:
* Performing detailed review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
* Assisting in the preparation of timely and accurate financial and board reporting packs
* Identifying trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
* Preparing and updating weekly and monthly financial reporting
* Coordinating with other members of the Finance team to review financial information and forecasts
* Building strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Previous FP&A experience in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for data and comfortable working with high volumes
* Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
* Experience with data visualisation tools would be highly advantageous
* Advanced Excel
* Proactive, self-starter, capable of working with initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* Natural relationship-builder, ability to influence and challenge where necessary
