This position is for a diligent Financial Controller who will oversee all aspects of financial management within the organisation. Client Details The company is an established business in central Brighton. They are a very well-respected player within their industry, and is offering further development within the Finance function. Description Reporting: Monthly management accounts - ensure the preparation and timely delivery. This includes analysis of a) income, expenditure and profitability, b) overhead expenditure and c) balance sheet accounts. PAYE and VAT returns and reconciliations including accruals, pre-payments meeting any required deadlines Manage and deliver year end statutory accounts process as well as audit preparation and management. Control: Help ensure data integrity within our booking system including managing internal controls, KPI's and its interface with Sage accounting system. Support the implementation of robust controls and processes to continuously improve effective ways of working across the business. Financial Planning: Work with the Exec Team and the customer team to ensure realistic annual budgeting and regular cash flow forecasting and collections. People: To manage, develop and coach all the finance team managing career development and hybrid working ensuring excellent service delivery. Profile A successful Financial Controller should have: A strong educational background in finance or accounting. Proven working experience as a Financial controller. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with creating financial statements. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
