Financial Controller

Reed Finance are partnered with a market leading, renowned business within the music industry in the recruitment of a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role where hitting the ground running is a must, so previous finance experience within the music sector is essential. Overseeing all day-to-day financial operations, this role will be a strategic finance partner to the company directors in order to continue driving their ongoing growth and success. As Financial Controller, your key duties will include: Overseeing all transactional finance duties Management accounting and business partnering with company directors Budgeting & forecasting Managing cash flow Preparing Month End and Year End accounts to final draft Overseeing royalty calculations, reporting and compliance Preparing high volume monthly financial statements for clients Supervising and mentoring a small finance team The ideal Financial Controller will: Possess a strong all-round finance and accounting background Have previous experience in a senior finance role within the music industry Understand in depth how MCPS royalties and associated reporting are undertaken ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is highly desirable, however is not essential This is a truly rare opportunity to join a renowned industry leader.
